Author: Fredrik Backman Book Color: Blue
Book Genre: Realistic Fiction Summary: Ove is a lonley old man, who not only is well ordered, but also crabby and sometimes mean. He likes things to be ordered and exact, and has been that way ever since his father died. After his wife died, his life just isn't the same, because it was Sonja who made sure that he was nicer and that he went to more public places. But Ove's life changes forever when the new neighbors move in: a loud, crazy family who announces their welcome by running over Ove's mailbox. Oops. But as the months go by, Ove starts to think that maybe, just maybe, they aren't as bad as they seem. And it's that family that causes Ove's life to flip upside down and change for the better. Personal Review: I though the book was a good book. The setting was confusing to understand, and there was some cussing now and then. Other than that, it was a great book to read. Ove is a funny man that I'm sure that all people will love and enjoy. To quote from the book, Ove is all you need. Recommendation: I recommend this book for people who like realistic fiction, who don't mind cussing in books, who want to learn about an old man's crazy life, and who can take some sad parts (at the end!)
