Author: Lois Lowry Book Color: Blue
Book Genre: Realistic Fiction Summary: Meg and Molly are sister, but they couldn't be any more different from each other. With her beautiful golden curls and bubbly, happy personality, no wonder everyone loves Molly. But Meg has stringy brown hair and while she has a talent for the camera, she is unsure about her future, shy, and often mad, throwing tantrums at the slightest thing. But then one day, the sisters' world gets flipped upside-down, and everything changes. Molly gets sick, and now she's the grouchy one, suffering from her sickness, throwing tantrums, and she's often impulsive. Meg is confused about what's changed in her sister...until she hears why. Sometimes, you have to let go on the ones you love. Personal Review: I liked the book. There were some parts that I wish were unmentioned, but a good book nonetheless. I like where Meg and her dad build a darkroom so she can develop her pictures. There was a sad part near the end, but it was a good book. Lois Lowry is a good author (I've read the entire Giver series, so I should know). Recommendation: I recommend this book for people who like realistic fiction and/or sad books. I would also recommend this for people who have a strong stomach and can handle gross parts (don't read it if you don't like to read about diseases or other disgusting things). Want to buy the book?
