Author: Bella Thorne Book Color: Purple
Book Genre: Fantasy Summary: How bad can starting high school be in a new place? As it turns out, very bad. Autumn Falls never wanted to move to Aventura, Florida, to be closer to her sick grandmother. To make matters worse, her father died in a car crash before they were scheduled to leave their old home. And starting high school in unfamiliar territory gives her the outsider feeling. Not to mention that she is a total klutz. But during her first day in class, she meats Sean, dashingly handsome and very kind. But then she finds out he hangs out with the mean girls, which gets her on the wrong side of the school's popularity queen, Reenzie. Now what can she do? As it turns out, the answer comes from her grandmother, who gives her an old diary that belonged to her father. Autumn thinks it is useless...until she realizes that whatever she writes in her diary comes true. Now she has the power to control what happens next, but what will happen when she tries to complete her wish: to get revenge on the girl who hates her? Recommendation: I thought this was an excellent book. The way the author describes the story with such detail...no wonder Bella has eight million likes of Facebook, five million followers on Twitter, and almost three million followers on Instagram! I like the series because it involves magic in the book. I really thought the most funny part in the book was where Autumn was watching Sean do track, and she notices Reenzie there as well, doing pole vault. So she wishes that Reenzie would trip and that her pole would split, but because she is dyslexic, she accidentally wished that Reenzie would trip in dog poop, which she did. It was really hilarious! Personal Review: I recommend this book for people who like fantasy, who like funny books, who books with a popular/mean girl, who don't mind books with a few mean parts, or for people who don't mind a little language. There were only three bad words total in the whole book, so for people who don't mind a little language, it would be alright with you. Want the book? Click here.
