Author: Joey Graceffa Book Color: Blue
Book Genre: Dystopian Fiction Summary: Sixteen-year-old Rowan is a second child, meaning she was illegally born based on the rules of Eden. If she was seen in the streets of Eden, she would be dead. Her unique eyes set her apart from the other citizens, whose surgically operated lenses mark them as official members of Eden. Her only safe haven is her home, where she has stayed all her life. Rowan wants to see more...to climb the fence and explore the world. Tired of being hidden, Rowan slips outside the fence and into the night for what she hopes is just one night of adventure. What she doesn't know is that her life is about to change forever. Personal Review: This book has so much to talk about! Well, to be honest...I feel that way about most books. I could have rated this Purple, but some parts of this books weren't that appealing to me. That is the one (and only!) reason that I rated this Blue. Other than that, this was a really great book and might even read the second book that will be released in October, 2017. Recommendation: I would recommend this book for people who like dystopian books, who like thrilling, adventurous books,, or who just want an excuse to do something good to the environment. Like, if you're going fishing and your mom asks "Why did you throw that fish back out into the lake? I thought we were going to eat it for dinner," you reply " Mom, if we take away from the Earth, we will pretty much die or live in a world like in the book 'Children of Eden'" or something along those lines. See, I'm helping you sound smart, right? :) Click here to buy this amazing book!
