Author: Chris Rylander Book Color: Purple
Book Genre: Realistic Fiction Summary: In Carter Fender's home state of North Dakota, nothing new ever happens. Same old, same old, every day. BORING. To keep people on their toes, he pulls pranks in his school. But one day, as he is about to pull the biggest prank that he has ever pulled off, a mysterious guy run up to him and hand him a package with two simple instructions: Take the package to Mr. Jenkins, and whatever he does, DO NOT OPEN IT. But he wants to open it, and besides, there are two Mr. Jenkins in his school. His curiosity takes over him, and as soon as he opens the package, he is taken on the ride of his life. Pretty soon, he will never look at North Dakota the same again. Personal Review: I really loved this book. A LOT. The prank was supposed to be that he unleashes goats, and while the school is in panic, he and his friends glue everything from books and paper to doors and tables. But because of the mysterious package guy, he just stands outside of the school and never really does any gluing. Funny! Recommendation: I would recommend this book for people who like spies, realistic-fiction type books, who love pranks, jokes, or laughs, and who doesn't mind a few gross parts here and there.
