Okay, so you know how in my last post I said how I would talk about Percy Jackson later on? Well, today is the day...I finally get to talk about my favorite book character of all time, the famous Percy Jackson! Author: Rick Riordan Book Colors: Purple, Purple, Purple, Purple, and Purple.
Book Genre: Fantasy Summaries: The Lightning Thief: Percy thinks he is a normal, single parented boy with dyslexia and ADHD. But when he finds out he has a godly parent, Zeus believes he stole his lightning bolt, and his mother is captured and taken away to Hades, he will be put to the test to find what was lost and his mother before he runs out of time. The Sea Of Monsters: Percy, Annabeth, and Grover embark on yet another journey to find the Golden Fleece that could save Thalia's poisoned tree before the camp's only barrier dies. The Titan's Curse: Percy and the rest of camp continues to fight the evil Titan Lord Kronos, while on an adventure to find the Greek goddess Artemis and to help two young demigods with an unknown parentage. The Battle of the Labyrinth: Percy and Annabeth find the entrance to the Labyrinth, an endless, dark, confusing maze. Now, Percy, Annabeth, Grover, Tyson, and many others embark on a journey to find Pan and to try and prevent Kronos from rising. The Last Olympian: When Kronos threatens to destroy New York City (and the whole United States), it's up to Camp Half-Blood to join forces with old allies to stop the world from being destroyed. Personal Review: Like I said, it was my favorite book series EVER. I recommend for everyone to try it out because I promise you, you will LOVE it! It was a real winner for me. I have been in love with Greek mythology ever since I read it. My top 3 favorite moments from this book series are: 1. When Percy, Annabeth, and Grover get trapped in the Lotus Casino. 2. When Percy battles the Minotaur and finds out that his best friend is a satyr (half man, half goat people who look up to the god Pan but are servers of Dionysus). 3. When Percy is in the throne room with his friends in the last book, all of them getting prizes from the Greek gods. Recommendation: I recommend this book for anyone who likes fantasy, Greek mythology (or any mythology, for that matter), or really funny, sarcastic main characters. Want the first book? Click here. What a brief but fantastic review of a wonderful series! Mr. Nash gave a heads up that you do a great job with your reviews! I'd love to share with students and teachers at my school in Grandville, Michigan!

I love your color-coded rating system! I think you might like the Wings of Fire Series if you like fantasy. My son and his friends all really liked it!
