Author: Kasie West Book Color: Purple
Book Genre: Realistic Fiction Summary: It's an ordinary day in a high school chemistry class. Feeling bored, Lily scribbles down some of her favorite song lyrics on her desk. The next day, she finds out that someone wrote the next line of lyrics from that same song right under hers! Soon, she becomes attached to her secret pen pal. They write to each other every day, sticking notes under the desk. Even though her family life is crazy, and she enters a songwriting competition, Lily is trying to figure out who is writing to her every day. Is it Cade, the annoying boy that Lily despises? Is it Gabriel, the sweet, funny boy dating her best friend? Or is it Lucas, the trumpet-playing boy that Lily is slightly crushing on? This is one love mystery worth solving! Personal Review: I loved this book. It's perfect for this time of year: Valentines Day! It's a mystery inside a love story. You really feel Lily in this book: how she is torn between her love for her family and friends and her love for music. FIY: it's sort of a cliffhanger. Just warning you. Recommendation: I would recommend this book for people who like part-romance stories, who like mystery, who can handle some sad parts, and who like realistic fiction. This was a great book and I think many people will like it! Like the review? Click here to buy it!
